Wavelength A Cappella was born in January 2016 when a group of friends decided to come together, share their love of singing and create one of Bournemouth’s most welcoming women’s choirs.
We’re a lively and spirited group, always striving to be the best we can while having a blast and soaking up the friendship of our fellow singers.
We’re always on the lookout for new singers to join our happy tribe!
We love to sing in harmony, either in three or four parts, and our songs range from well-known classics to tunes from our favourite shows, lively anthems and touching ballads. And yes, we even have a few pirate songs!
We practice our music at home using great teaching tracks and then bring it to life with polish and sparkle during our weekly rehearsals.

Here’s a recent rehearsal recording of A Million Dreams. Enjoy!

We are always looking for new singers. There is no formal audition but you are expected to be able to carry a tune. You don’t have to read music but you must be happy to learn our songs at home from our professionally recorded teach tracks.

With a highly versatile repertoire we could be the ideal choice for your next event. We have performed for charities, festivals, masonic groups and at weddings. We are adaptable and affordable.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30 throughout the year in rooms 3 and 4 at The Kinson Community Centre, BH10 7LH
Please feel free to come and see us but use the form below to let us know, so we can look out for you. Or phone our chorus director, Dyrck, on 07763 793971
